AMF gripper with counterbalance unit, hydraulic L5=100 40 bar

Application

The gripper performs fully automatic workpiece replacement during the machining process on a machine tool. The change is performed from the machine tool of the milling machine and facilitates workpiece handling between the parts storage and clamping device.
It is actuated by coolant, which is routed through the machine spindle. The gripper closes hydraulically and opened using spring force.
The integrated spring-loaded CX counterbalance function protects the tool, machine spindle and workpiece and compensates for different tolerances and unevenness.

Execution

• Max. permissible rotation speed: 20 [rpm].
• Suitable for Weldon mounting and hydraulic expansion chucks.
• Designed for ambient temperatures between 0°C and 60°C.
• Transport of workpieces up to max. 8 kg.
• Available in two versions for workpiece sizes up to max. 50 mm or max. 70 mm.

Notes

Depending on the machine used and the operating pressure of the coolant,
three pre-configured grippers are available. During use, please observe the minimum and
maximum operating pressures.
