Application

For clamping workpieces by means of vacuum. Wide range of workpiece shapes can be clamped. For grinding, milling, drilling and 5-sided machining including all breakouts. VAC-MAT is a thin, soft plastic mat with 77 vacuum holes, suction cups in various sizes with elastic lips on the top and fine bore holes in the centre. The underside features protruding plastic lugs for positioning the VAC-MAT on the vacuum clamping plate.

• Since no sealing cords need to be inserted, setup times are significantly reduced and workpieces can be reclamped within a few seconds
• Gentle contact surface against the workpiece prevents clamping surfaces from being damaged
• Prevents surfaces from getting scratched
• No special equipment required
• The elastic sealing cords fill any uneven areas on the workpiece clamping surface. The sealing cord can compensate for up to 0.5 mm of unevenness or curvature
• The modular design allows multiple vacuum plates to be connected across the grid. The operating vacuum to the individual plates is routed through the fasteners
