Application

Tool does not pull out or micro-creep. Guaranteed. The solution is as simple as it is ingenious. It is an integrated wedge that lies against the Weldon surface. This gives users peace of mind that there will be no costly damage to the workpiece even if the system, consisting of a milling machine, spindle, chuck and tool, is overloaded.

Execution

• When clamped, the wedge always rests against the chamfer of the Weldon surface, thus creating a mechanical interlock without radially displacing the tool.
• The tool shank is clamped circumferentially on three lines, which centres it perfectly and generates greater retention forces, even with shank tolerances of up to h6.
• Better concentricity increases the service life of your tools.
• GERC-W/GERC-WD3, 3 µm concentricity.
• GERC-WD with sealing for internal cooling can be used up to 60 bar.
